Short and Brennan Architects is a professional design firm that offers comprehensive services in architecture, planning and programming, interior design and project management. The firm was founded in 1976 and was formerly known as Greenberg + Short and Brennan. Today, the two Principals are Gregory Short, AIA and Patrick Brennan, AIA who together bring over 30 years experience to the firm.

It is the mission of Short and Brennan Architects to achieve excellence in design, to provide unparalleled service to our clients, and to practice architecture professionally and responsibly while contributing to our community and society. We have actively led and participated in the community planning process and have designed and constructed projects on both new and existing sites.  We work closely with our clients and the community to create the best designed project possible.  Our projects are successful because they reflect the spirit of collaboration which is vital in meeting the goals set forth for the project and the concerns of all those involved.

We have successfully completed a variety of projects for community, state, and federal entities.  Among the clients we’ve recently designed projects for are Colorado Department of Transportation, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, US Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Denver Water, Colorado Springs Utilities, and numerous other public and private clients.

We are considered experts in our field and have won numerous awards for our projects.  We proudly boast a significant ratio of repeat clients with a high satisfaction rate, consistently deliver projects on time and on budget, and have fun while doing so.  The breadth and depth of our experience in planning and design include the following project types:

     Public Use and Visitor Facilities
     Operations and Maintenance Facilities
     Laboratories and Research Facilities
     Parks and Recreation Projects
